Started off the month with two rehearsals back to back, then a 3 hour gig with LC Williams & The Driver on Friday night. On to the next day opening up for local and national acts on the big stage at Dam Blues Fest, and then three days later, another 3 hour show down in Portland outside at the popular Portland Lobster Company. We played the next Friday night in Auburn at a night club, then Saturday, a 4 hour show outside at a big party (with the biggest bonfire we've ever seen!) Sunday, Don and I helped out at JC's blues jam for the afternoon. The following Friday, we joined up with Trent & Lauren, Steve & Jess and drummer Jon for a 4 hour show at Ebenezer's Pub for their annual Belgium Beer Fest, and the next evening had us down in Saco for a 4 hour outside gig at Run Of The Mill. The next Wednesday, I backed up Trent and Lauren at an outdoor concert at the Bridgton Public Library, and then on Friday, up to Lewiston for a 4 hour show at The Cage. By Saturday at noon, we were back on the road and heading up to Nobleboro for an hour and a half set at Puddlepalooza - another outside concert in the blistering heat - and Sunday morning, we zipped down to Freeport and played a 4 hour show at Wolfe's Neck Farm for a bike race/farm to table foodie event.

And now we have 2 days left until September, and I keep asking myself - wait - summer's over?
