Porch Wall Project

In photos. All we spent was $14 for some sand for the top.
Rotting boards, five years old. Got to go.

Gathering the rocks was one of the hardest parts.
Dig out the old boards, gather more rocks from around the hill.

Collected little rocks off the road for drainage.
"It's like a puzzle." With heavy rocks.

After two days of putting it together.

Some extra room.
Nice and level.
Big rocks to sit on.

Thanks Merri! It was backbreaking work, but worth it in the end. Always fun to have a change.

Thanks Coop! I suspect there's more outdoor porch gathering weather left in this year.
