Before Anything Else
Four degrees F. at 8 am, crisply crackly morning air. It just takes a little patience to rustle up the the coal embers and spark up another warming fire in the wood stove. In time the wood stove in the basement will make the main living floor a comfortable temperature, though the frost around the living room windows will probably stay all day. I wish you could see the frost around the windows, it looks really cool.
