Hanging Out

Two weeks ago, I was lucky enough to have been a guest at a house concert in Lincoln County, Me featuring Florida based blues man JP Soars and his smoking band The Red Hots. This quartet skillfully exudes soulful roots blues, with smiles all around and an easy cool vibe. Total pros- gracious and humble, they delivered over one hundred percent. It was quite a show.

Before they performed, I had an opportunity to chat with drummer Chris Peet about the touring life and more. Don happened to take a few photos.

After the show, some of us got up to play a few in a casual jam situation, and Chris played some bass!
