Sick cat.

The wind has been unbearable! It was suppossed to be calmer today, but as of this morning, it's still howling.. and that makes going outside to work quite uncomfortable. Today we will have to bring Bonezee in to the emergency vet hospital.. and excellent place.. because he's just not getting any better with his peepee prob.. at least we know he's not "blocked".. but he is obviously uncomfortable and it's breaking my heart to see him trying to put on a brave face. He's a very sensitive cat, and we kind of know what's going on because his brother suffured the exact same thing two months ago. It's the change over to the better food.. which doesn't make much sense but I'm frustrated about all this. Meanwhile, we've got to bring him in so he can get fluids and a shot and antibiotics, and hopefully that will be all he needs.. I hope we haven't waited too long.. It has been a few days.

It's very hard to be happy when one of your pets is unhappy.

Oh Kate, that's too bad about yer great cat Bonezee! I hope you can get him back on the road to recovery. A lady in church today by the name of Kathi Pewitt lit three candles for her three cats who have died in the last year! You don't want me to have to do that for you, do you! I mean light a cat candle. So good luck getting Bonezee all spruced up and straightened out.

Oh, by the way, there's another Maine blog being blogged by a Monkey, would ya believe. Check it out. There's a link on my blog under "Madame Husson's Rosier". Looks pretty wild....

Well, it turns out we have to wait until Monday, as the hospital is closed on Sunday, and they only have a vet on call for emergencies. Bonezee, though uncomfortable, can wait another day. I'm going to leave work early tomorrow and we'll bring him in in the afternoon.

I did see that post and looked at Monkey's blog.. very amusing! How clever.

Well, it's sad about Bonezee. Hope he can hang in there without too much uncomfortableness.
