Just got back yesterday from Rockland, Maine, where I went with Don to his two gigs up there. We stayed in the tent, and we had a good time. The wierdest part was meeting a woman in the camp site across the way from us, who I found out, was married to the father of a childhood friend of mine. Imagine that! It was pretty wild.
The other cool thing is shown in this photo:
Marcia Ball, New Orleans boogie-woogie piano maven, sat in with Don's band for two songs! Pretty frickin' cool.
